About this course

This self-paced course cuts through technological hype to deliver a grounded, clinical approach to integrating artificial intelligence into behavioral health practices. Moving past industry exaggerations, participants will gain a clear framework for evaluating software security, establishing multi-layered client consent, and identifying algorithmic bias. • Apply a practical framework to evaluate whether a given AI tool is appropriate for clinical use.
  • Identify five specific clinical workflows where AI can be integrated to support therapist sustainability and client care.

Course Instructor(s)

  • Hannah Weisman, PhD

Dr. Hannah Weisman is a licensed clinical psychologist (WA license #PY61390419, CA license #PSY30460) who provides psychotherapy for adults and older adolescents. She believe our culture doesn't do a great job teaching people about their mental health, and she's on a mission to change that. In her role as a therapist, she works collaboratively with individuals to help them reach their personal goals and live more fulfilling lives. Hannah partners with clients to take a deep dive and understand the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that are getting in the way, then develop long-lasting tools to overcome those barriers and create a more meaningful life. She aims to honor multicultural differences and provide competent services to people from all backgrounds in everything that I do.
